What you share, what the service needs, and the choices you have.
Information used by Lovbit
Lovbit handles your email address, authentication records, and the age and policy acknowledgements you provide when registering. Authentication is managed through Supabase. Your profile may contain your display name, age, broad region, gender, dating goals, biography, photos, interests, specialties, technologies, education, communication preferences, prompt answers, and project details. Share only information you are comfortable providing to a dating service. Gender, dating preferences, and profile content may reveal sensitive personal information.
Private account and interaction records
The service stores onboarding drafts, discovery preferences and visibility choices, likes, passes, matches, conversations, messages and read status, blocks, reports, account status, deletion requests, support tickets, and moderation records. These support the features you use and safety administration. Hosting and authentication services also process technical data such as IP addresses, browser or device request information, timestamps, and operational logs when serving or protecting the service.
Why information is used
We use information to create and authenticate accounts, save drafts and profiles, apply discovery preferences, record likes and matches, deliver messages, maintain safety restrictions, respond to support and privacy requests, and investigate abuse or technical failures. Where applicable law requires a particular basis for processing, this may include providing the service you request, protecting legitimate service and safety interests, meeting legal obligations, or your consent where required. Ask support about processing relevant to your circumstances.
What other members can see
Published profiles and their details can be viewed by eligible members. Discovery visibility controls whether you appear in discovery; it does not recall information already shared. Message recipients see your messages and related conversation status. Email, drafts, private preferences, blocks, reports, and support tickets are not displayed as public profile fields. Other people can save or redistribute information they receive, so avoid putting private contact details or sensitive material in your profile or messages.
Profile photos use public URLs
A profile photo is stored at a public URL in Supabase storage. Anyone with its link can access it, even if your profile is still a draft or discovery is paused. Removing a photo from the editor removes its profile reference; it does not itself delete the uploaded file or copies already cached, downloaded, or shared. Use support to request removal of uploaded files when needed. Do not upload documents, other people’s private images, or photos you would not share this way.
Service providers and safety access
Supabase provides authentication, database, file storage, and real-time service functions. Cloudflare hosts and delivers the application and handles associated network and security processing. Resend delivers authentication emails through Supabase SMTP and processes recipient addresses, email content and delivery diagnostics. Authentication emails contain a single-use verification code; never share it. These providers process information as needed to provide their services, which may involve infrastructure outside your country. This notice does not promise a particular storage location. Authorized administrators can access records needed for moderation, support, and account requests. Relevant information may be disclosed where required by law or necessary to address abuse, protect people, or defend legal rights.
Optional billing and advertising
If you choose Lovbit Plus, Stripe processes your checkout, payment method, invoices, recurring payments and subscription management. Lovbit sends Stripe your account email and a private account reference to link the membership correctly. Lovbit stores provider customer/subscription identifiers, plan, status, period end, cancellation state and limited billing-event audit records; it does not collect your full card details. Stripe’s own notices govern its processing. Billing and entitlement records also help prevent duplicate subscriptions and investigate payment requests.
There are no advertising trackers in the current app. Lovbit does not sell account information or send private messages, reports, precise coordinates or authentication information to advertising providers. Sponsored creative links are labeled. Rewarded ads remain unavailable until an approved provider is integrated; any such integration will be disclosed with applicable choices. Retention and deletion requests
Account and interaction information remains stored while your account is in use and while a removal request is being processed. A deletion request in Settings immediately hides your account and disables discovery and messaging, but your account is not permanently deleted until the request has been reviewed and processed. No automatic deletion deadline is promised. Limited records may need to remain for security, abuse investigations, legal obligations, or disputes. Copies in infrastructure backups or operational logs may remain until those systems remove them; deletion from the live service does not instantly erase every copy. We do not promise a fixed backup expiry period.
Your choices and requests
You can edit your profile, change discovery visibility and preferences, block or unblock accounts, and request deletion in Settings. For access to your information, a copy or export, correction, erasure, a processing objection or restriction, withdrawal of consent where relevant, or an appeal, submit a privacy request through Contact Lovbit. These are reviewed requests rather than an automatic export or immediate erasure tool. We may need to verify account ownership and clarify the request. Available rights and exceptions depend on the law that applies to you; you may also contact the relevant data protection authority.
Children, security, and updates
Lovbit is for adults aged 18 and older. Report a suspected underage account through the safety tools or support. Access controls and authentication help protect information, but no online service can guarantee complete security. Never share passwords or sign-in codes. Material changes to this notice will be dated here and communicated when required. Contact support with privacy questions or concerns.
